Covering all aspects of Pennsylvania history with four floors of exhibits and activities, the State Museum of Pennsylvania "is the only museum in the Commonwealth where the public can experience the full expanse of the state’s heritage and its connections to the national experience." The Museum's collections of over 3,000,000 objects include archaeological artifacts, minerals, paintings, decorative arts, zoology, industrial and technological innovations and military objects. A multi-media planetarium, the Dino Lab, and a hands-on learning center are also offered.
