Consisting of rolling fields and woodlands along Interstate 81 in Lebanon and Schuylkill counties 14 miles north of Lebanon and three miles west of Pine Grove, between Second and Blue Mountains, one of the main attractions of the 3,520-acre Swatara State Park is the eight miles of Swatara Creek that meanders through the park. Though underdeveloped, the park still provides such recreational activities as fishing, hiking, boating, and hunting.
