The story of Mauch Chunk, what is now Jim Thorpe, is brought to life by videos, images, artifacts and four working models, which include a standard lock on the Lehigh Canal, water filled, working model of Josiah White's Bear Trap Lock, an operable miter lock and drop gate lock on the Lehigh Canal and a 30 foot replica of Mauch Chunk's famous Switchback Gravity Railroad.
