Founded in 1940, as an all-volunteer orchestra, the Kennett Symphony of Chester County is Chester County, Pennsylvania's only professional symphony orchestra. The KSCC performs six concerts each year, which includes a children's concert, at three venues: the Emilie K. Asplundh Hall on the campus of West Chester University, Kennett High School Auditorium and Longwood Gardens Open Air Theater.
