Opened in 1955, to offer correct information about the Amish, the Amish Farm and House is the oldest, most authentic Amish home open to the public in Lancaster County. A 45-minute guided tour of the Amish farmhouse, built in 1805, is available. Farmed since 1715, this 15-acre farm contains many historical buildings and items, including a one-room school house, tobacco shed and a stone bank barn.
