Situated on the wooded banks of the Conestoga River, this historic Georgian-style brick mansion is the former home of General Edward Hand. "Rock Ford is one of the most important examples of Georgian domestic architecture surviving in Pennsylvania and the most intact building pre-dating 1800 in Lancaster County." Regular guided tours, open-hearth cooking demonstrations, hands-on children's activities and more is offered from April through October.
