The oldest historical society in Delaware County, the Delaware County Historical Society was established in 1895 to acquire, preserve and make available documentation, educational programs and to publish materials on Delaware County. DCHS owns Greenbank Farm in Media and the old Bank Building in Chester. The DCHS Library can be found in Chester at 408 Avenue of the States.
