Can you spell dump! The current owners have left this once beautiful camp site turn into a slum. Almost all the campers, some who had been there over 20 years, have left. The water is terrible, there are thefts, and its just a mess. After 5 years I have left for this reason. Truly a shame!

I am saddened to read harleyfatz's comments about Rocky Springs. My family and I have been camping there off and on for many years. We have seen it undergo new management several times. Always I have felt that there is great potential at Rocky Springs. With a few ideas I think Rocky Springs can truly be a premier camping spot for North West PA. I would welcome a comprehensive management program. I'd even be interested in doing it myself.

Harleyfatz was right first class dump,i was there for years and watched it go down hill,with some incompident lazy no good owners that knew nothing about camping or people slills at all, what a shame first class rates for a first class dump im sure everyone would agree thats been there, so please read DO NOT, REPEAT DO NOT CAMP THERE YOU WILL BE SORRY AND PLEASE PASS THIS ON TO ALL THE PEOPLE YOU KNOW PLEASE.

It has been cleaned up and modern updates are taking place. Bath house is CLEAN and has been repaired! Trees are trimmed & grass is cut. New roofs have already been installed, weekend activities are back in place, pool and camp store will be open for 2012 season, security gates are back in operation - new owners live on site! stop in and take a look - you won't be disappointed Rocky Springs Campground has the same name but a whole new image!!!

GREAT NEWS!!! Rocky Springs Campground has NEW OWNERS as of June 2011!!! old owners are GONE!!! Campground is undergoing renovations as we speak! The water has been restored and is drinkable (DEP Approved!) Campground will be a full service park for the 2012 campimg season!!! Rocky Springs Campground is no longer in disrepair!!! Unbelievable how much they have cleaned this place up in such a short amount of time!
