Patients are scheduled Monday through Friday by appointment only. Late afternoon / evening appointments are available to accommodate work and school schedules. Patients receive treatment upon referral from a physician or through Direct Access. A thorough evaluation is performed by a licensed physical therapist to identify deficits and establish mutual patient/therapist goals and a clearly defined course of action.

Physical Therapy at ESSMC is provided in a very relaxed, yet professional atmosphere. Patients should wear loose fitting clothing such as shorts, sweat pants, and a sweat shirt to afford exercising comfort. Also, remember that therapy does not end in the Clinic . . . home exercise programs are a vital component of a thorough program. The Center has a supply of various supports and braces, and specialized equipment can be obtained for patients as needed. Parents/guardians are encouraged to accompany minor children at least on the initial visit.
