The Jacobsburg Historical Society was established in 1972 to preserve and interpret the historical Henry family estate and early industrial properties, the family's gun and iron making heritage, and to help establish the Jacobsburg National Historic District." The Pennsylvania Longrifle Museum at the Henry Homestead is open from May through October on Sundays from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. The year-round Boulton Visitors' Center at 402 Henry Road is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
