A 2,546-cre park located near the Slippery Rock Creek Gorge, McConnells Mill State Park visitors enjoy hiking, fishing, rock climbing, whitewater rafting and hunting. The Historic Grist Mill is located in the park. McConnells Mill Heritage Festival is held on the third or fourth weekend in September each year.
