Home to one of the most influential writers in America, this three-story brick building complex was Poe's home from 1843 to 1844. Here Poe wrote his famous short story “The Black Cat.” His only surviving residence in Philadelphia, it is filled with artifacts and memorabilia that portrays his life and work.
