The only National Museum in America devoted to telling the American Jewish experience, this state-of-the-art museum features the largest collection of Jewish Americana in the United States. Permanent collection items include a tzitzit, 1938 trading card, 1936 ad blotter, silver havdalah spice tower, boxing trunks worn by the Jewish prizefighter "Dangerous" Dana Rosenblatt in 1993, a shohet's knife and sheath, steamer trunk, and a Yiddish translation of Benjamin Franklin's autobiography.
