A National Historic Landmark, this park is situated at the confluence of the Allegheny and Monongahela Rivers at the tip of Pittsburgh’s “Golden Triangle.” A bike and in-line skate route through Point State Park connects the North Shore Trail, the South Side Trail, and the Eliza Furnace Trail. Historical sites include the Fort Pitt Museum, the Fort Pitt Blockhouse and many plaques and monuments commemorating events, people, and places of importance.
