Founded in 1964, the Goschenhoppen Historians Inc. strives to preserve the folk culture of the area's earliest immigrant settlers, the Pennsylvania Germans. One of the oldest continuously existing Pennsylvania German communities in the United States is Goschenhoppen. The Goschenhoppen Folklife Museum, Country Store Museum, Folklife Library and an early blacksmith's shop are situated within old Red Men's Hall in Green Lane, Pennsylvania. Built in 1736, the Henry Antes House in the township of Upper Frederick, Pennsylvania is the historic living house museum of the Goschenhoppen Historians, Inc.
