A private, non-profit organization affiliated with Alvernia College, the Italian-American Cultural Center of Pennsylvania serves the residents of Reading and Berks County through the sponsorship of educational programs that promote the Italian-American cultural heritage. The Italian-American Cultural Center of Pennsylvania features a library filled with books, periodicals and audiovisual material relating to Italian and Italian-American heritage and a photographic and archival collection of the history of Italian Americans in Reading and Berks County. Italian language classes are offered in the spring and fall.
