Owned and operated by the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission, an agency of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania; the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania includes a 100,000 square foot exhibit hall for the display of over 50 pieces indoors. Over 100 locomotives and railroad cars can be found in the Restoration Yard outside. Special exhibits and events are held throughout the year at the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania.
