A National Historic Landmark, Slater Mill preserves, interprets and researches the birthplace of the American Industrial Revolution and its collections. This living history museum on the Blackstone River includes the Old Slater Mill, Sylvanus Brown House and the Wilkinson Mill. Exhibits, collections of artifacts, interpretive tours, a research library, theatre, gift shops, concerts, demonstrations, lectures, family programs, specialized tours, holiday programs and exhibits of fine craft and artwork are offered at the Slater Mill. Tours are given by guide only.
