The David Winton Bell Gallery presents six to eight major exhibitions each academic year. The Gallery's permanent collection of more than 4,000 works of art consists of pieces, primarily contemporary art and works on paper; from the 16th century to the present. Significant prints and drawings by Rembrandt, Tiepolo, Goya, Daumier, Piccasso and Matisse, major works by Frank Stella, Lee Bontecou, Anthony Caro, Diego Rivera, Alice Neel, Richard Serra, and Joseph Cornell, and photography by Walker Evans, Aaron Siskind, Harry Callahan, and Larry Clark are found here.
