The first permanent English settlement was established at this historic site over 300 years ago. Highlights of this site include an original fortified town that portrays 1670's town life, a reproduction 17th Century sailing vessel, and a natural habitat zoo that contains animals that roamed here centuries ago such as pumas, bison, alligators, black bears, and wolves.
