A National Trust Historic Site, this mansion is the oldest preserved plantation house in the United States and is an outstanding example of Palladian architecture. The oldest unrestored plantation house in America still open to the public, Drayton Hall offers daily guided house tours and programs. General admission is all inclusive and includes a guided tour of the main house, the African-American history program "Connections: From Africa to America," self-guided landscape and nature walks, entrance to the 18th-century African-American cemetery, and the exhibit center, a former African American dwelling that houses changing exhibits, a members area, and a museum shop.
