Built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930’s, this beautiful 1,419-acre park is surrounded by longleaf pine forests and sand hills and features a scenic 30-acre lake. A two-story house that dates back to the mid-1700's, believed to be the oldest standing building in Richland County, is also located in the park. Camping, picnicking, hiking, biking, fishing, swimming, and nature related activities are just some of the recreational opportunities available.
