A South Carolina National Historic Landmark, this Colonial rice plantation that overlooks the North Santee River was the birthplace of Thomas Lynch, Jr., a signer of the Declaration of Independence. Furnished with 18th and 19th century furniture, the house and grounds are open for tours which are given on the hour, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and Saturdays beginning at 11:00 a.m. Dining is available Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
