Named one of "The Top 10 Greatest Romantic Getaways" by Charleston Magazine and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this historic pre-Civil War plantation house and guest houses lie on 900 beautiful acres that played host to Mel Gibson and the cast of the movie "The Patriot." Tours are available and guests are accommodated in three historic cottages which surround the main house. All guest quarters have high ceilings, carved woodwork, fireplaces, private baths, and private entrances. A full breakfast is served on antique china and sterling in the main house dining room.
