Built by Charles Cotesworth Pinckney, Lieutenant Governor of South Carolina from 1832 to 1834 and a member of the South Carolina family that included two signers of the U.S. Constitution, this beautiful four story plantation house is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and represents the glory that was the Old South. This house is an excellent example of an early 19th century plantation house.
