  Visit Wade's Mining Museum and see how mining was done back in the early days. See some of the old equipment still in operation. The old stamp mill, used to grind hard rock, is being run by an old upright steam engine. You can see it in operation during the summer between Memorial Day and Labor Day.  more...  map
