The Rushmore Borglum Story at the Borglum Historical Center is a must to see before a trip Mount Rushmore. A painter and sculpture, Gutzon Borglum began carving Mount Rushmore at the age of 60. His other works include Seated Lincoln and the Henry Ward Beecher Memorial.
