Situated atop the Coteau des Prairies (hills of the prairies), Fort Sisseton Historic State Park was originally a frontier army outpost. This restored National Historic Landmark features 14 original restored buildings. Guided tours are available. 14 campsites, a tent camping area, and three camping tents are available.
