A K-12th grade Catholic institution administered by the Jesuits and the Lakota people, founded as Holy Rosary Mission in 1888, Red Cloud Indian School's mission is "to develop and grow as a vibrant Church, through an education of the mind and spirit that promotes Lakota and Catholic values." An outstanding collection of Native American fine arts and Lakota tribal arts is on display in the Heritage Center of Red Cloud Indian School.
