With the mission "to collect, conserve, curate, interpret, exhibit and disseminate knowledge of paleontologically and geologically significant objects," the Museum of Geology offers world-class displays of rare real fossils and minerals, including mounted skeletons of dinosaurs, mammals, marine reptiles and fish; educational tours and family events. Along with fossil and mineral specimens from around the world, the Museum's collections include historical documents, photographs, equipment, recent comparative animal skeletons and a library of books and maps.
