The Historic Chicago & Northwestern Railroad Depot is open from April to November, Thursday through Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. or by appointment. Passenger trains serviced this depot, the first public building in the city to be equipped with a semi-direct lighting system; until the early 1950's. This Romanesque-style Depot now houses railroad items, model trains, engines and artifacts depicting the early days of the railroad.
