Honoring the old west pioneers of North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, Wyoming and Nebraska, the High Plains Western Heritage Center houses a collection of Western art, artifacts and memorabilia. These quality exhibits include the original Spearfish to Deadwood Stagecoach, a turn-of-the-century kitchen, saddle shop and blacksmith shop and artifacts relating to forestry, mining, ranching and rodeo are also depicted. Outdoor displays include a furnished log cabin, rural schoolhouse, and antique farm equipment.
