Billy Tripp is no artist and the Mind Field is a huge piece of junk. This eyesore has ruined the looks of our fair town but our leaders don't want to offend Mr. Tripp....since he has wealth and connections.

How can an old water tower dragged here from another state serve as a memorial to this deranged man's father? What do naked Barbie dolls soldered to this metal monstrosity tell us about the late Rev. Tripp? Nothing, except that his son, Billy, is a weird sick man.

Mr. Tripp recently visited our town on vacation. His bike did cause quit a stir, but in this little laid back town it was fun and exciting in my eyes. I was in a local coffee shop with a friend and didn't know anything about Mr. Tripp or his mind field. We all visited and enjoyed each others company so much we went to supper together also. I could have judged the book by its cover, but instead got to briefly know the man and really liked him. It's not my town so I don't have any emotional attachments to anything, but I wonder if some individuals would look out side their box and get to know him they might really find a friend who is sensitive and caring. I'd also be curious in knowing how many people it brings to town to see this structure that shop in your shops and eat in your restaurants............? I'm now curious enough to come give it a looking over and shop while in town. Dawn from Kansas

Lighten up Brownsville citizens. Your town is not ruined by the Mindfield. It is unique and should be respected. It sounds like some petty jealousy on someone's part!
