Open year round! MountainLake Wilderness Resort is only 1 mile from Watauga Lake's 110 miles of shoreline in the Appalachian Mountains and surrounded by the Cherokee National Forest. Our Wilderness Lodge Cabin accommodates groups up to 20. It boasts a huge fully-equipped kitchen ,laundry room, gas fireplace, cable tv, and private phone and a 1000 sq' covered wrap around porch with a hot tub. A very secluded Honeymoon Cabin with a hot tub is also available.
