Also knows as the Elise Chapin Wildlife Sanctuary, this 130-acre outdoor sanctuary with various species of plants and wildlife is listed as a historic site on the National Register of Historic Places. Not only are there more than four miles of walking and hiking trails located along the South Chickamauga Creek but many other amusements such as the Cherokee Heirloom Orchard, Walker Hall, the Railroad Line, and Spring Frog Cabin are educational and historical sites to visit.
