Two tours the Raccoon Mountain Caverns, which features over 5 1/2 miles of underground passageways, are available. The Crystal Palace Tour is a guided walking tour through the front portion of the cave which covers over one-quarter mile. Guides will explain how the caves formed, their history, and describe a wide variety of formations including stalactites, stalagmites, and natural bridges. Wild Cave Expeditions require participants to wear gloves, pads, lights, and helmets.
