The same fine furnishings, antiques, and art that decorated the home when it was built in 1950 dress the interior today. The house and grounds became a part of Kingsport's civic and social life in 1983. Now, it is a favorite spot for elegant weddings and receptions, bridal showers and rehearsal dinners. The newly redecorated barn on the grounds is also available for more casual affairs.
