Intriguing history and southern elegance create the romantic setting of Kingsport's Allandale Mansion. The same fine furnishings, antiques, and art that decorated the home when it was built in 1950 dress the interior today. The house and grounds became a part of Kingsport's civic and social life in 1983. Now, it is a favorite spot for elegant weddings and receptions, bridal showers and rehearsal dinners. The newly redecorated barn on the grounds is also available for more casual affairs.
