State Theater in downtown Kingsport is being restored to its original 1935 Erle Stillwell-designed architecture with an interior "Mediterranean Garden" theme and an "Aztec Art Deco" exterior. State Theater will be a multi-use venue with a state-of-the-art digital cinema, VIP balcony seating, food, drinks, and a live performance stage.
