This park was dedicated in May, 1959 to honor David Crockett, a former resident of Lawrence County. The park has two and a total of 107 campsites. Each campsite is equipped with a table, grill, electrical and water hookups. Bathhouses are available for hot showers. Campers will also enjoy an Olympic-sized swimming pool, complete with lifeguards and a wading pool for children, open from early summer through mid August. Lindsey Lake is full of bass, and fishing is welcome. The lake's boat dock offers rowboats and pedal boats for rent . The park has a paved bicycle trail and is a great place to enjoy hiking, tennis, softball, and volleyball.
