Voted one of the top five museums in the South by the readers of Southern Living magazine, this regional natural history museum is Tennessee's most visited museum. It includes such outstanding exhibits as an original 1920's mansion, a shrunken head, a replica of the first Piggly Wiggly grocery store, and a hand-carved miniature circus. A planetarium and IMAX theatre are also a part of this museum.
