Since 1927, this nostalgic, old-fashioned restaurant has been serving baskets of sweet cornbread and rolls, heaping portions of Southern fried chicken, smashed potatoes and gravy, turnip greens a tangy hot sauce, squash casserole, sweet candied yams, black eyed peas, and sinfully rich desserts. They are open Monday through Friday for lunch and early dinner.
