Originally built from the plans of famed architect Robert Mills, designer of the US Treasury building and the Washington Monument, this Victorian home has been host to Andrew Jackson and Andrew Johnson and served as Ulysses S. Grant's headquarters and as a hospitality lodge and hospital for the troops during the planning of the siege at Vicksburg. The Inn at Hunt Phelan offers 11 guest rooms.
