Originally built for Tennessee's 1897 Centennial Exposition, this full-sized reproduction of the original Parthenon in Athens, Greece serves as the City of Nashville's art museum and features a recreation of the 42-foot statue of Athena, permanent collection of 19th and 20 century paintings, as well as changing exhibitions and a gift shop.
