Mansker's Fort is an authentically reconstructed 1779 log station, which was typical of Mansker's first settlement. Considered to be one of the most historically accurate in the nation, the fort offers a "hands-on" study of the lifestyle of early settlers. Visitors are able to better understand the transition of fort life to estate living by visiting the Bowen House. Built in 1787, this home is one of the oldest standing brick structures in Middle Tennessee.
