Established in Oak Ridge in 1951, they are a parent run and supported non-profit organization serving area swimmers from Oak Ridge and surrounding communities. Associated with both USA Swimming, Inc. and Southeastern Swimming, Inc., they host two swim meets each year, attracting swimmers from Tennessee and several surrounding states. In addition to ACAC team training for swimming competition, their Learn-to-Swim program offers swimming lessons featuring a low instructor/swimmer ratio and special emphasis on technique to beginning swimmers and special needs swimmers.
