The original Threadgill's on Lamar Boulevard represents Austin history from the 1930s through the 1960s, while the second location downtown (301 West Riverside Drive) presents the history of the music city in the 1970s. The atmosphere and food offered by the two restaurants proudly hails from an era that predates both "disco and microwaves."
