Nestled on a hill top plateau overlooking the Bandera countryside, this working cattle ranch offers a private 615 square foot apartment style accommodation that is completely furnished and features a fully equipped kitchen, an extensive video library, a queen size futon sofa, a full bath, an old fashioned woodstove, and a covered carport and porch. Guests are encouraged and welcome to participate in all phases of cattle management on the ranch. Private and personalized trailrides are available.

Spent two nights at the Bar M Ranch and recommend it to anyone wanting a non-dude ranch experience. Trisha is passionate and knowledgeable about her horses and I came away from my two trail rides with her feeling I had really learned something about horse behavior and the skill of western horseback riding. The bunk house is contemporary in feel, full kitchen and comes equipped with an affection cat named "Francis". I highly recommend this for anyone who really wants to get away from it all.
