A part of the monument at this historic rock fortress reads "U.S. soldiers, under command of Robert E. We found it and I do remember going out there as an adolesence. My wife and I went a few nights ago and read the monument..We sat there on the back on the car and listened as we could hear horses running and then we heard indians making their war cry and then we heard women screaming..This time the noise did not increase..But it definantly is a true haunted site!
