Named for former Mayor Harry M. Crighton, "the crown jewel of Montgomery County" is host to a wide variety of stage plays, dance recitals, symphony and musical performances and the acclaimed Sounds of Texas music series. The circa 1934 Crighton Theatre is the home for performances offered by the Crighton Players and the Montgomery County Performing Arts Society.
